Life tips

There's a website that helps you find that forgotten word at the tip of your tongue.

Phraseup* assists you with writing by finding and filling-in the words you can't rememberhttp://www.phraseup.com/en

Easy Deviled Eggs - Put cooked egg yolks in a zip lock bag. Seal, mash till they are all broken up. Add remainder of ingredients, reseal, keep mashing it up mixing thoroughly, cut the tip of the baggy, squeeze mixture into egg. Just throw bag away when done easy clean up.

Use the protective foam that came with your furniture to save your knees while you put it together.

If a ball point pen won't write, instead of doing the random scribble thing, stick the tip of the pen into a flame, just barely so the ball gets hot, and it will melt the ink that has trapped the ballpoint. Takes about 2 seconds, and the pen is ready to write again.

Like so http://imgur.com/midJEedit: I probably should have clarified this works when the scribble thing does not work (most of the time).

Put out the fire of minor burns with your body's own moisture.

How? Wrap the burn in saran wrap or wear a rubber glove if it's on your hand.It takes a few minutes and then it kicks in... your body's own moisture will relieve you of the pain.I learned this from my grandfather, a doctor who developed Telfa, which later because the non-stick stuff on Curad bandages. He developed it as a burn treatment that wouldn't stick to burn wounds.I found out about it one day when I walked into the kitchen at my grandparents' house and gramma had her arm wrapped in saran wrap.Try it the next time you burn yourself, if you do.

Best procrastination tip

Inflating pool toys when your missing that little fucking plastic tip for the compressor. . .Use a pen instead!

Get a swiss army knife for your key chain.

I can not express in words how useful a swiss army knife keychain has been during the course of my life. I probably use it everyday. Also, always know where your towel is.

If you read a good LPT read the comments too. The top comment is usually a reason why it's untrue or a better tip.

I've noticed in the past few months that an LPT's comments are far superior to any of the posts themselves in most cases. Also, I'm posting this cause I kinda wanna see why this is wrong too.

If, like me, you have a small bedroom with little or no hard surfaces, this little tip could save you a lot of spilt drinks.
